METRO PLUS : Popular prophetess found dead on Abakaliki road Policewoman Loveth Odah The Ebonyi Police Command says Police authorities are working to unravel the cause of death of a popular prophetess in Ebonyi, who was found dead along Ezza Road, Abakaliki, recently. The  News Agency of Nigeria  reports that Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs. Loveth Odah, who briefed journalists in Abakaliki on Tuesday on the incident, said that investigation was ongoing to ascertain the woman’s actual cause of death. Very little has separated these two English giants in the European second tier tournament which should make way for a very intense final in Baku. It’s a first-ever all-English Uefa  Europa League final as  Chelsea  and  Arsenal  trade tackles at the Baku Olympic Stadium on Wednesday night. The Blues needed penalties to make it to the Azerbaijan capital after a nervy 4-3 shootout victory over  Eintracht Frankfurt  in the semi-finals.

ENTERTAINMENT  GIST: Adekunle Gold Reportedly Loses Dad  Nigerian singer, Adekunle Gold has reportedly lost his father, Prince Hakeem Adeyemi Kosoko to the cold hands of death.    According to reports, Prince Hakeem Adeyemi Kosoko, who is the Permanent Secretary of Education District 4, died during the night due to an undisclosed ailment. It is also reported that Prince Adeyemi Kosoko was flown out of the country after falling ill some months ago and only recently returned to rest and recuperate.  A  teacher who works under Mr Kosoko’s district in Lagos revealed to Linda Ikeji that his death was announced to the teachers in Education District 4 this morning. The cause of death has not been revealed. adekunle Gold’s father was recently promoted to the position of a permanent secretary for Education in Lagos state.
SPORT GIST: Emery urges Arsenal to hijack Man Utd's Meunier move Arsenal  boss Unai Emery is interested in signing  Paris Saint-Germain  full-back Thomas Meunier from underneath the noses of  Manchester United  this summer. According to a report in  Metro , Emery is keen to bring the defender to the Emirates Stadium as a replacement for Stephan Lichtsteiner, who is expected to leave the club over the next few weeks.

A Federal High Court sitting in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital has finally ruled on the case of the five lawmakers in the State House of Assembly whose seats were declared vacant by the House following their defection to the All Progressives Congress, APC. Delivering his judgment on Monday, Justice Fatun Riman, held that the seats of the sacked lawmakers were vacant by reason of their defection from the PDP without lawful justification.
